Morison KSi members join together in raising awareness on World Mental Health Day
On 10 October 2018 Morison KSi member firms organised a 30-minute walk to help promote mental well-being.
The initiative organised by Morison KSi UK member firm , Kingston Smith, aimed to raise awareness of mental health. Kingston Smith supports Mind, a UK charity which works at improving services and promoting understanding of mental health issues. To coincide with World Mental Health Day, Kingston Smith organised a week of activities which focused on the 5 steps promoted by the NHS to help improve mental well-being: connecting, being active, keeping learning, giving to others and being mindful.
In line with these steps, Kingston Smith invited all member firms to “be active” by organising a 30-minute team walk at lunchtime. This initiative was met with warm approval from member firms and proved to be a great way to promote and highlight the importance of mental well-being.
Eleduvina Lopez, Partner in DDK & Company (New York), said afterwards:
“We were thrilled to participate. We are in the throes of our second busy season and this walk was what the doctor ordered!”
In the press release available below we present some of the photos received from Morison KSi members around the world who joined this initiative.
Thanks to Kingston Smith for inviting members to take part!
